JSCA announces 15-member state team for All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup Cricket Tournament

Ranchi: The Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) has announced a 15-member Jharkhand team for the upcoming “All India Uttarakhand Gold Cup Cricket Tournament (ODI).” This prestigious 50-over white-ball tournament will take place from May 23 to June 8, 2025, at various locations in Uttarakhand, featuring 16 teams from across the country. The teams are divided into four groups, and Jharkhand is placed in a group with Mumbai, Punjab, and Tripura. Jharkhand’s first match will be against Mumbai on May 29, 2025.

Sahil Raj has been appointed as the captain, with Rajandeep Singh serving as the vice-captain. The team also includes two wicketkeepers, Arbind Kumar and Pankaj Kumar. The selected players are Bishesh Dutta, Shikhar Mohan, Arnav Sinha, Rajandeep Singh (Vice-Captain), Satya Setu, Arbind Kumar (Wicketkeeper), Pankaj Kumar (Wicketkeeper), MD Kounain Qureshi, Sahil Raj (Captain), Shubh Sharma, Shamshad Ahmad, Amit Yadav, Amit Kumar, Tanish Choubey, and Atul Singh Surwar.

The team is scheduled to report on May 23, 2025, at the JSCA International Stadium Complex in Ranchi. A pre-tournament camp will be held from May 24 to May 27, 2025, and the team will depart for the tournament on May 28, 2025. JSCA has congratulated all the selected players and wished them success, expressing confidence that this young and talented team will leave a strong impression in the tournament.
