JPSC comes out with revised PT results for 7th-10th exams , 4885 candidates declared successful

Ranchi: Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has published the revised result of 7th to 10th Combined Civil Services Examination on Thursday.

After the execution of the petition filed in the Jharkhand High Court regarding this matter, all the hurdles in the release of the examination results were removed. In the revised result, 1552 candidates passed from the unreserved category, 362 under SC category, 1002 under ST quota, 994 under Extremely Backward Class 1 category, 681 under Backward Class 2 category and 294 candidates passed under Economically Weaker Section. In this way a total of 4885 candidates have been declared successful by the commission.

All these candidates will now be able to appear in the main examination to be held from March 11 to 13.

The number of successful candidates has been given in the revised result by the commission. The category-wise result was published in the last released result and this has been changed in the revised result.

The commission has said that those candidates who were declared successful in the previously published results and have also been successful in the present revised examination and have previously applied online for the main exam such candidates are not required to apply online for the main examination again.

Other candidates who are declared successful in the revised result will have to apply online for the main examination. Information regarding this will be published soon, the commission said.

Jharkhand Public Service Commission had taken the preliminary examination on September 19, 2021. The commission has released the cut-off marks along with publishing the revised result.

Under this, the cut-off is 248 marks for Unreserved, 248 for Other Backward Class-1, 248 for Backward Class-2, 246 for Economically Backward, 242 for Scheduled Caste and 232 for Scheduled Tribe candidates.
