JMM’s foot march reached Raj Bhavan from Morhabadi Maidan, leaders and workers were stopped

Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) took out a foot march in protest against the Central Government and BJP for misusing the Central Investigation Agencies and harassing the Jharkhand Government and Chief Minister Hemant Soren. This foot march started from Morhabadi ground in Ranchi and reached Raj Bhavan. However, JMM workers and leaders have already been stopped by putting up barricades before Raj Bhavan.

A large number of police forces have been deployed outside the Raj Bhavan. JMM workers and leaders from Ranchi, Lohardaga, Gumla and other districts participated in this march. Gumla MLA Bhushan Tirkey also participates in this program.

JMM workers and leaders participating in the foot march said that the Central Government is trying to destabilize the Hemant Soren government as part of a conspiracy. The state government is doing development work. But BJP is not able to digest this. The central government is targeting CM Hemant Soren. But party leaders and workers will not tolerate this attitude of the Centre.

If the Center and the BJP do not stop harassing the CM, they will oust the BJP from power in the coming elections. Leader-workers said that the party leaders and workers will protest every day.

Earlier on Saturday, JMM workers had taken out a torch procession from Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium to Albert Ekka Chowk. The workers said that if BJP teases us, we will not leave. In 2024, the people will uproot him from the entire country including Jharkhand. The workers had said that a strong protest would be held in front of Raj Bhavan.
