Ranchi: The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha will be holding its 12th Central Convention on Saturday. The Convention will be held at Sohrai Bhawan located in Harmu of the capital. Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Thursday reached the venue and had a look at the arrangements.
To participate in the convention the representatives of the party have started reaching the capital. Representatives from Pakur, Sahebganj and other districts of Santhal Pargana and Kolhan have reached the capital while representatives from neighbouring states including Bihar, Bengal and Odisha will too grace the occasion. In wake of the convention, the JMM has decked the entire city with posters and banners of the party.
Hoardings showing the pictures of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and JMM supremo Shibu Soren have been put up across numerous boards and in all the prominent chowks and spots of the capital. The party has also put numerous welcome gates across the city to welcome the delegates.
Apart from the names of traditional martyrs the welcome gates have been also named after workers, youth, farmers and women power. In this event, the central office-bearers of the party will be decided. The event will be attended by all the MLAs, MP, central office-bearers, central working committee members and representatives from organisational districts of the party.
