JMM describes Budget 2022-23 as complete and integrated

Ranchi: The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has described the annual budget of the state for the year 2022-23 presented by Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon in the Assembly as a complete and integrated budget. Addressing a press conference here senior leader of the party Supriyo Bhattacharya said that through the budget needs of all sectors of the society have been addressed. He said the biggest thing in this budget is that the section which had suffered the most which is education has been revived and the biggest allocation has been made to it.

He said the trust given on the development of medical infrastructure by the government shows its sensitive approach. Adding further he said that the country runs from the rural economy and farmers have been given primary focus in this budget and added that whatever problems were being faced in the two years of the pandemic and how a new morning will be heralded its transparent picture has emerged through the budget. The JMM leader said that focus has been accorded on virgin areas in tourism whereas attention has been also paid for development of entrepreneurship skills of the youth. He said many important decisions have been taken in the budget including extending the benefits of Marang Gomke foreign scholarship scheme to the students of SC OBC and minority communities while Guruji student credit card scheme will make the students pursue their dream for higher education
without worrying about the money.

Bhattacharya said that apart from the health the nutrition needs have been also addressed by providing pulses at Rupees 1 and egg whereas for the first time any government has decided to provide woolen clothes for children coming to the Anganwadi Kendras. He said that the budget is also aimed for knowledge enhancement as two planetariums will be set up in the state including Ranchi and Deoghar they were while a Science city will also come up, similarly, clubs will be set up at block levels and the concept of State Library is being revived. He said that Panchayat Bhawans will be developed as Gyan Kendra apart from that law and order which is a very important subject steps have been taken to ensure effective and scientific methods to handle it. Similarly under PMAY the beneficiaries will get additional Rs 50,000 for construction of a third room and this was also in the manifesto of the party which has been addressed in the budget.

Bhattacharya said that the social security needs of the people have been also addressed in the budget as these schemes give confidence to the people. He said that suggestions of the people in the pre-budget consultations over health Education and Employment have been also addressed. According to Bhattacharya this is for the first time in 22 years that an integrated budget has been presented in the Assembly which is a reflection of the hopes and a believes that all the promises made to the people will be realised on the ground.
