JMM Chief Shibu Soren challenged Lokpal case in Delhi High Court, hearing to be held on 23rd

Ranchi: Former Chief Minister and Rajya Sabha MP Shibu Soren, president of JMM, the ruling party in Jharkhand, and the party associated with Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have challenged the order of the Lokpal, in which the Lokpal has ordered the CBI to investigate in the case of disproportionate assets.

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha has approached Delhi High Court and filed a petition against the order of Lokpal. On which hearing can be held on 23 April. The party has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court through Supreme Court Advocate on Record Pragya Singh Baghel.

In fact, on February 22, the Lokpal, while giving its verdict on the complaint filed against Shibu Soren in the disproportionate assets case, had ordered the CBI to investigate as soon as possible. Lokpal has directed the CBI to complete the preliminary investigation of this case within six months. BJP’s Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey had filed a complaint before the Lokpal in 2020.

BJP MP from Godda, Dr. Nishikant Dubey had accused Rajya Sabha MP and former Jharkhand CM Shibu Soren and other members of his family of amassing disproportionate assets.
