Ranchi: Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) is now preparing for the 2024 Lok Sabha and assembly elections as it aims to win as many seats as possible in the upcoming elections. For this the party workers have got the task that they should be in coordination with the government officials and participate in ‘your rights – your government’ at your door program going to start in the second phase.
It will be the responsibility of the workers to make the government’s welfare schemes 100 percent accessible to the villagers. Workers should keep in mind that no one should be left out of the benefits of needy welfare schemes the party instructed.
In the one-day meeting held on Friday under the chairmanship of party supremo Shibu Soren at Sohrai Bhawan in Harmu, a strategy was made on many issues. On this occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that before the formation of the government neither the eyes nor the voice of the government reached the rural environment.
In the name of employment, only formalities kept happening but JMM is the only political party that understands the real structure of Jharkhand and this is the reason that as soon as the new government was formed the work of taking welfare schemes to the rural areas started he said.
Keeping this in mind, last year the program Aapke Adhikar- Aapki Sarkar, Aapke Dwar was launched he said adding that after the success of the first phase, the second phase is starting from October 12.
With this, the workers should go from village to village and together with the officers, they should take the benefits of the government’s schemes to the villagers. The Chief Minister said that the role of workers in the program will be very important. The government aims to strengthen the rural economy he said adding that the scheme will prove to be very effective in dealing with the drought situation in Jharkhand state.
The people here will get the benefit of taking this program on the ground in a planned manner he added. According to JMM sources, a strategy was also made to give a strong answer to the BJP in the party meeting. The workers were asked to apprise the people of the fact that the opposition is constantly conspiring against the government.
