Ranchi: In an indirect attack by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha on BJP leader Babulal Marandi and AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto as Mir Zafar and Jaichand respectively. In a press conference held on Friday Supriyo Bhattacharya expressed his happiness over the local policy of 1932 passed by the cabinet and also approval for 27 percent OBC reservation.
He said that the BJP leaders claiming that they will not allow both decisions to become reality and they are making such statements because they know that they have a majority in Parliament. In such a situation, if the party does not expect protection from the Raj Bhawan and the judiciary, then from whom it should? He said that if the party will not get protection, neither the country nor democracy will survive.
During this, the JMM leader gave the new name to BJP as Bidhayak Jodo Party. The JMM leader said after 22 years of struggle people have got their identity in the last two days back. He said that when Babulal Marandi was the Chief Minister after the formation of the state, AJSU chief Sudesh Mahto was a minister in his cabinet. During that time 27 percent of reservations for backward classes was reduced to 14 percent.
In 2002 without taking society into confidence, Babulal made a domicile policy, due to which the entire state was shocked and there was a conspiracy of BJP behind this. Similarly, the current AJSU MP Chandraprakash Choudhary was a minister in Raghubar Das’s cabinet and at that time the local policy of 1985 was made which was also a conspiracy of BJP.
Supriyo once again demanded to make public the decision of the Election Commission in the assembly membership case of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. He said, on August 18, the Election Commission had given its decision. After that a month has passed, but what is the purpose of the report, it was not made public.
Our demand is that the Governor should send his recommendation to the Election Commission without delay and also give the decision which has come from the Election Commission to the Chief Minister so that if any adverse situation arises in the future then the party can adopt the judicial process and make sure that BJP can not succeed in its conspiracy.
