Jharkhand to remain cloudy, chances of rain from February 21

Ranchi:  The weather has taken a turn in Jharkhand on Monday. The weather has changed due to cold winds coming from the eastern direction. On Monday, many districts of the state including the capital Ranchi remained partly cloudy after noon. There will be partly cloudy skies in the state on Tuesday also.

According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the state is likely to increase by 2 to 3 degrees during the next 3 days. After the rain on February 23, the temperature may drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius. The weather in the state remained dry in the last 24 hours.

Chaibasa was the hottest with 32.4 degrees Celsius, while Godda district was the coldest with 11.3 degrees Celsius. There is a possibility of rain in many districts of Jharkhand from February 21. There is a possibility of light rain in some parts of the north-eastern part of the state, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Sahibganj.

On February 22, there is a possibility of rain at some places in northern parts Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Pakur, Sahibganj, Giridih, Koderma, Hazaribagh, Chatra, Palamu and Garhwa. On February 23, there is a possibility of light rain at isolated places in the south-eastern parts of East Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharsawan.
