Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das said that NTPC has an important role to play in the development works currently on in the state. Chairing a high-level review meeting with the officials of the company over the pending projects of the NTPC and outlining its future course of action.
Mr Das said that once the Patratu power station commences operation then Jharkhand would become self-sufficient in the area of power. He asked the officials to work in coordination and sort out pending matters as soon as possible.
During the meeting discussion on North Karanpura project, Patratu Pakri Barwadih mines Chatti Bariatu Kerendari mines and other issues were taken up.
Those present in the meeting also included Chief Secretary DK Tiwari Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sunil Kumar Barnwal Power Secretary Vandana Dadel NTPC CMD Gurdeep Singh and other senior officers.
