Jharkhand State Implementing Agency for Cattle and Buffalo Development and EMRI Green Health Services inks MOU for betterment of Veterinary Medicine

Ranchi : Agriculture Minister Badal has said that the sensitivity of the government is for the people of the state as well as for the animals.

Under this, first the work of Gau Muktidham, then a rescue vehicle was done.

In this sequence, for the betterment of veterinary medicine, preparations are being made to operate mobile veterinary in all the block headquarters of the state.

He said that EMRI Green Health Services has been selected for this work, this agency has been doing such work in other states of the country as well.

With their cooperation, the state government will be able to work for the betterment of the health of the state’s livestock.

Badal was addressing the people after the MoU signed between Praveen Jha, CEO, Jharkhand State Implementing Agency for Cattle and Buffalo Development, Ranchi and Mr. K. Krishnam Raju, Director, EMRI Green Health Services, at his chamber at Nepal House on Thursday.

Badal informed that 236 ambulances equipped with modern facilities are being purchased by the department, which will be available to solve the medical problems of the domesticated animals of the villagers.

He said that the government will soon issue a helpline number for mobile veterinarians.

Badal said that 236 ambulances equipped with modern facilities including veterinary surgeon, paravet, driver will be working under this scheme by EMRI Green Health Services.

This will not only benefit the farmers of the state and their animals, but will also provide employment opportunities by appointing veterinary surgeons, paravets and drivers.

On this occasion, Secretary, Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Department Abu Bakkar Siddique informed that an MOU has been signed with EMRI Green Health Services for ambulance extension service.

Veterinary doctors will be done by them after reaching the houses of the farmers.

Also, within half an hour of receiving a call on the toll free number that will be issued, the ambulance will go to the farmers’ homes to treat the animals.

Centralized call centres will be set up for this purpose and an ambulance will be available in each block.

On the occasion of the MoU Abu Bakkar Siddikh, Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Animal Husbandry Praveen Jha, CEO, Jharkhand State Implementing Agency for Cattle and Buffalo Development, Ranchi, K. Krishnam Raju, Director, EMRI Green Health Services and other departmental officials from EMRI Green Health Services Officers were present.
