Jharkhand reaches into semis of 12th national junior women’s hockey tournament

Ranchi: In the ongoing 12th National Junior Women’s Hockey Championship 2022, the Hockey Jharkhand team defeated UP 4-0 and reached the semi-finals. Hockey Jharkhand has reached the semi-finals for the 10th time in a row.

For Team Jharkhand, Dipika Soreng, Rajni Kerketta, Elin Dungdung and Pramodani Yogi Lakra scored their goals to take the team to the semi-finals. Hockey Jharkhand’s next semifinal match will be against Hockey Maharashtra on April 2.

In the 12th Hockey India National Junior Women’s Hockey Championship 2022 being held in Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh from March 25 to April 3, 2022, the Hockey Jharkhand team defeated Hockey UP by 4-0 goals in their quarter-final match played on Thursday and entered the semi-finals for the 10th consecutive year.

In the 13th minute, team Jharkhand’s Deepika Soreng scored a brilliant field goal to give the team a 1-0 lead. It was only after the 18th minute that Rajini Kerketta scored a goal to lead the team 2-0.

After this, Pramodani  Yogi Lakra scored another goal in the 56th minute to make the team 3-0. After 4 minutes (in the 60th minute) Elin Dungdug scored a goal to make the team score sheet 4-0.
