Jharkhand Police and State Bank of India (SBI) Signed an MOU

Ranchi: Director General of Jharkhand Police (DGP) Ajay Kumar Singh said, Police Department signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with State Bank of India (SBI) in Ranchi on Monday.

IPS Samesh Tabrej and Devesh Mittal from SBI signed an MOU in the presence of DGP and other senior Police Officials.

MOU documents and Provisions will be included in the Budget.

Now, Police Officials will have bank accounts in India’s Largest Public Sector Bank State Bank of India (SBI).

In the MOU it was clearly mentioned that Rupees 50 Lakh Insurance on death, 50 Lakh after being handicapped during Duty, Rupees 30 Lakh on Minor Injury, Rupees 1 Crore on Plane Crash.

Orphan Children will get Rupees 10 Lakh Insurance.

Provision of Rupees 10 Lakh on Maoist Amusement.

Police Officials and Jawans will get SBI Platinum Card in which provision of Rupees 10 Lakh Insurance made on Accidental cases.

Senior IPS officers Murari Lal Meena, Sanjay Anand, Akhilesh Jha, Amoul Venukant Homkar, Prabhat Kumar and others were present.
