Jharkhand High Court granted bail to three on Ribika murder case will have to attend the police station daily

Ranchi: Jharkhand High Court’s decision has come in the famous Ribika murder case of Sahibganj. Three accused in the Ribika Pahadiya murder case have been released on bail. Three accused in the murder have got bail, including husband Amir Hussain, Mehtab and Gulera all are relatives of the main accused Dildar Ansari.

While granting them bail, the court has placed a condition that the accused will have to come to the police station daily to mark attendance and will have to furnish two personal bonds of Rs.25, 000 each.This decision has been given by the court of Justice Navneet Kumar of the High Court.

The accused had appealed for bail in this case, on which the High Court heard. Advocate Rohan Mazumdar argued on behalf of the accused and sought bail. Mustakim Ansari, Dildar Ansari, Mariam Nisha, Gulera Khatun, Saraija Khatun, Gulera Khatun, Mehtab Ansari, Aamir Ansari, Mainul Ek, Shaher Bano, Zarina Bibi and Mainul Asari. Ribica was murdered on 16 December. Her missing information was lodged at the Borio police station.

Sub Inspector Sushma Kumari was investigating the case. On December 17, around 4 pm, the police received information that some dogs were eating human organs by scratching her body near the under-construction Anganwadi center of Borio Santhali girl. When the police arrived, several pieces of the dead body were visible. 

Dildar Ansari was called for identification. He identified his second wife Ribika alias Ribika Pahadiya from the nail polish on the finger of a piece of leg lying near the Anganwadi center. The body was cut into several pieces and thrown. Aamir Ansari, brother of Ribika’s husband Dildar Ansari, father Mustakim Ansari Beltola had said that Dildar Ansari’s first marriage was with Sareja Khatoon. Two years later, Dildar married Ribika Pahadiya.

Dildar’s family did not like Ribika Pahadiya because she belonged to a primitive tribal community and a woman of a different religion. Dildar took Ribika to Bangalore and then came back from there and started living in a rented house in Borio. 15-20 days before the murder, Dildar forcibly took Ribika and started living in his parents’ house in Beltola Borio.
