Ranchi, Jul 25: The Jharkhand Government would be launching online pension schemes for its retired employees from September 1, 2019.
Development Commissioner Amit Khare said that the state government alongwith the Auditor General of the state have decided that to overcome the problems that are faced by the retired employees of the state government to withdraw their pension has decided to launch online pension scheme.
Mr Khare said that the e-pension scheme would be launched from September 1, 2019 for which in the six districts those officials and employees who would be retring in the next 6 months would be provided training. He said that the retired employee would have to login at the employee portal and after filling their details would forwarded their application to the officials concerned for further action.
Mr Khare said that the officials would make sure that the NOC is provided to the retired employee within 15 days of retirement so that the process for online withdrawl of the pension can be commenced. He said that the performa to fill in the form is available on the website of the finance department while in the far off areas e-pension forms can be filled through pragya kendras.
He said that a ADM rank officer would be a nodal official for the e-pension project. Mr Khare said that those employees hwo have already filled the hardcopy will be paid the pension with the earlier format.
