Jharkhand Governor interacts with SHG women members in Ramgarh

Ramgarh: Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan visited this district on Tuesday during which he interacted directly with the villagers of Bhuchungdih panchayat under the Chitarpur block. 

While taking information from the villagers about the benefits of various schemes of the Central and State Governments the Governor praised the awareness of the schemes of the government among the women and said that if the women are self-reliant they can not only educate their children but can also ensure a good future for their entire family. 

While making the villagers aware of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, various pension schemes, Ayushman card and other schemes, those villagers who have not been able to get the benefit of the scheme due to any reason, he directed to provide benefits to them.

In the programme, the women of the self-help groups (SHG) informed the governor about the benefits they got after joining the group, on which the Governor took inspiration from other women present in the program, who have benefited from the schemes of the government.

He also appealed them to make more people aware to take benefits of the schemes of the government. The Governor handed over a cheque of Rs 10,000 to Mangoti Devi under Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Awas Yojana, Savita Devi under Phooljano Aashirwad Yojana, an acceptance letter to Mahima Kumari under Savitribai Phule Kishori Samriddhi Yojana, Dhaneshwari under Sona Sobran Dhoti Saree Yojana.

Earlier, on reaching Bhuchungdih, the Governor was welcomed in Ramgarh district by DC Madhavi Mishra and in-charge SP, Manoj Ratan Chauthe after which the Governor was given a guard of honour by the District Administration, Ramgarh. During the programme, a large number of people including senior officials of the district administration of Ramgarh were present.
