Jharkhand Government’s Cabinet Decisions 

Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren held a Cabinet Meeting at Project Building in Jharkhand Secretariat in Ranchi on Friday.

Following Decisions were taken in the meeting.

Under the administrative approval of the UDAY (Ujwal Discom Assurance Yojana) scheme of the Ministry of Power, Government of India, Rs. 4,602.2775 crore Approval was given.

Approval was given to increase the contract amount of 03 helicopter pilots previously approved on contract for Dhruv helicopter of police version.

Sanction was given for creation of new police station under West Singhbhum, Chaibasa district.

Sanctioned for permanent advance for execution of general works of police stations in the state.

For the revival of Dulki Reservoir scheme and the lining work of main canals, administrative approval was given for the estimate of Rs.3470.55 lakh.

Approval was given for the Digital Panchayat Scheme.

Approval was given for the formation of Munsarim Service Cadre (Recruitment, Promotion and Other Service Conditions) (Amendment) Rules-2023 under the Jharkhand State Settlement Office of the Directorate of Land Records and Measurement under the Department of Revenue, Registration and Land Reforms.

On March 31, 2021 the audit report (Performance Audit) of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Direct Benefit Transfer in Jharkhand for the year ended was approved for presentation on the table of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.

Approval was given to organize Women’s Asian Hockey Champions – Trophy 2023 in Jharkhand Ranchi and the amount to be spent in the said event.

Amendment in the implementation guidelines of the nutrition campaign scheme operated under the Centrally Sponsored Mission Saksham Anganwadi and Poshan 2.0 The approval was given.

Approval was given to present the Annual Reports of the District Mineral Foundation Trusts of 24 districts of Jharkhand State for the year 2020-21 before the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.

Year 2021- Approval was given to present the Annual Reports of 22 before the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.

In the light of the recommendation of the Seventh Pay Commission, amendment was approved in the Finance Department Resolution No. 737/V, dated 27.03.2018 related to the applicability of various allowances to the government servants.

Approval was given for the creation of Sisai Police Circle under Gumla district.

The High Court of Jharkhand (Conditions of Engagement of Co-Termus Employees) Rules, 2019 constituted by the Jharkhand High Court approved the proposed rules for obtaining the approval of the Governor.

Construction of 40 Courts Revised administrative approval was given on the total cost of the work of Building at Civil Court, Ranchi Jharkhand.

After the establishment of Jharkhand State Open University, approval was given to increase the seed money for expenditure on essential items.

To provide bond-based services in state hospitals for one year to successful students of state-run government paramedical institutions.

The approval was given.

State government employees, whose appointment process was completed before 01.12.2004, but were appointed after 01.12.2004, approval of amendment in resolution no.

Relaxing the provisions of Rule 235 of the Finance Rules for the treatment of cancer patients of Jharkhand State, nomination of Tata Medical Centre, New Town RajarHat, Kolkata under Rule 245, under Ayushman Bharat Mukhyamantri Jan Arogya Yojana approved.

Approval of MoU with Medical Institute and Jharkhand State Health Society, Ranchi was given.

“One Time Settlement” scheme was approved for an extension of three months (July 2023 to September 2023). -2) Jharkhand Reservation in posts and services is nil, in such districts, members of Extremely Backward Classes (Schedule-1) and Backward Classes (Schedule-2) are eligible to apply and for appointment as EWS till further orders Approval was granted.

Union Public Service Commission, Jharkhand Public Service Commission, Central/Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission and various recruitment agencies like Banking/Railway Recruitment Board.

For the purpose of preparing for competitive examinations for recruitment in ‘B’ and ‘C’, the detailed guide of “Eklavya Training Scheme” was approved for providing free coaching.

Chief Minister for providing free coaching to the students of Jharkhand state for the preparation of entrance examination related to Engineering, Medical, Law, Mass Communication, Fashion Designing /Fashion Technology, Hotel Management, Chartered Accountant/I.C.W.A. Approval was given for the detailed guide of ‘Education Promotion Scheme’.

Approval was given for amendment in the Jharkhand State Finance Commission (Appointment of Chairman and Member, Service Conditions and Procedure) Rules, 2022.

NIELIT on the basis of nomination under Financial Rule 245, cancelling Financial Rule 235 for conducting the examination and revising the policy for conducting the examination under the new system of mandatory e-Literacy program for the employees and officials of the state for Capacity Building.

Approval was given to enter into an agreement with Ranchi.

Jharkhand Government to distribute 01 (one) kilogram of gram pulses per family per month at a subsidized rate of Rs.1.00 (one) per kilogram for all families covered by the National Food Security Act, 2013 and Jharkhand State Food Security Scheme (JSFSS).
