Jharkhand Government to make FICCI ‘national industry partner’

Ranchi: The state government will make the Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry ‘national industry partner’ for which an MoU will be soon inked between the Industries Department and the industry body.

An official release issued here said that Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his consent on the performa of the MoU after which for two years FICCI will work as national industry partner.

The purpose of the MoU is to push up growth and make the economy strong in the post Covid period. Under the MoU steps would be taken to ensure that natural resources of the state can be properly used, the skilled and semi skilled workers are provided jobs as per their skill and capacity, increasing investment and business and promoting ease of doing business so that rules related to the business can be further simplified so that traders get a better environment for doing their business.

There are some sectors in the state which hold immense potential and to promote these sectors FICCI and the state government will work together. The sectors which have been identified for this are textiles and garments, food processing, pharmaceutical, health care, manufacturing, MSME, cottage Industries, tourism and eco-tourism.
