Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren’s Last Rites in Singhbhum Today

Ranchi- The mortal remains of Jharkhand Education Minister Ramdas Soren, who passed away in New Delhi late Friday night, reached Ranchi on Saturday morning. At the State Assembly, leaders from across political parties paid floral tributes.

Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Speaker Rabindra Nath Mahato, Opposition leader Babulal Marandi, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Radha Krishna Kishore, and several ministers, MPs, and MLAs joined in mourning.

Calling his death “an irreparable loss to the state,” Governor Gangwar extended condolences to the family.

Soren, 55, had been under treatment at Delhi’s Apollo Hospital after suffering a brain stroke 12 days ago. His body was taken straight to the Assembly for homage and will be cremated today at his ancestral home in Singhbhum.

Political leaders remembered him as a simple and dedicated public servant.

Jharkhand is mourning deeply, recalling his contribution to education, tribal rights, and grassroots development.
