Jharkhand Congress stages fast, asks PM to come clean over relationship with Adani

Ranchi: Under the banner of Jai Bharat Satyagrah the Jharkhand unit of the Congress party staged a ‘fast’ program near Bapu Vatika at Morhabadi Grounds of the state capital.

Speaking on the occasion Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Rajesh Thakur said that party leader Rahul Gandhi staged a 4000-kilometer-long yatra from Kanyakumari to Kashmir against price rise unemployment and hatred. 

During the course of the yatra, the people narrated their sufferings to him, and in the middle of that the Hindenburg Report came out highlighting the Adani Scam. He said that when their leader Rahul Gandhi raised questions over the relationship with Adani the Prime Minister got scared and did not leave behind any measure to get his membership of the house cancelled.

He said that attempts were made to suppress the voice of Rahul Gandhi when he raised the issues of unemployment price rise and hatred. Therefore the party was left with no option then to adopt the path of Satyagrah, he said adding that even the Prime Minister should not be scared and speak on his relationship with Adani. 

Rajesh Thakur said that 135 crore people of the country are demanding respite from price rise unemployment and hatred and asking about the promises which were made to them and have not been still fulfilled. He said that people had given the reigns of the nation to a Chaiwala as they had considered him as one among their own but that person is selling all the PSUs of the country as a Chai. 

The Congress leader said that from the month of May he will be travelling across the districts which is aimed at strengthening the party organization and will reach to the people living in the last strata of the society and ask them as they were getting benefits of any schemes of the Centre.
