Government has politicized issues which it should have respected: Sudesh Mahto

Ranchi: AJSU supremo Sudesh Mahto has alleged that the parties in power have politicized the sentiments which the government had to respect and address.

Addressing a party function in Gandey he said that a large section of the state is angry with the policies due to which students, farmers, workers, youth are bound to agitate in different ways and definitely there will be a political result of this huge dissatisfaction and displeasure. He said that by making people aware and expanding public consciousness the party is engaged in preparing for a big movement.

We all have a great responsibility to mobilize people for progressive politics he said. Sudesh said that the background of the person leading the state is not related to the conflict as he has never assessed the social, economic and political condition of the people by going among the general public. They have nothing to do with the foundation-based politics of development.

He alleged that the ruling party is not serious about any issue. From the time of the movement till now, they have been talking about the conservation of Jharkhandi resources, but the reality is that whenever they got a chance, they broke all the records of loot and exploitation.

The date for issuing caste, income, and residential certificates has been fixed by the government, but no work is done without bribes he said adding that efforts are on to continuously weaken the Panch-Panchayat, Gram Sabha.
