Jharkhand Congress leaders attend oath of Mallikarjun Kharge

Ranchi: After being elected as the President of the All India Congress Committee, the swearing-in ceremony of Mallikarjun Kharge took place at All India Congress Headquarters in Delhi on Wednesday.

State Congress President Rajesh Thakur, Working President Geeta Koda, Shahzada Anwar, Minister Badal Patralekh, Former Union Minister Subodh Kant Sahai, Ravindra Singh, Sanjay Lal Paswan welcomed the newly elected President by giving a bouquet to attend the swearing-in ceremony.

State Congress President Rajesh Thakur said that the election of Kharge shows that there is democracy in the Congress itself.

He said that the selection of an experienced person like Khadege who has had administrative and organizational experience for six decades would prove to be a milestone in the politics of this country the party would benefit from his vast experience and the Congress would achieve new heights under his able leadership.
