Jharkhand cabinet approves Rs 32.76 crore to set up cold storages in state

Ranchi, Jul 17: The Jharkhand Government today approved a sum of Rs
32.76 crore to set up cold storages under the agriculture, animal
husbandry and cooperative department in different districts of the
state having a capacity of 5000 metric tonnes.
A decision in this regard was taken in the meeting of the state
cabinet which was chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das at the
project building here.  The total cost of constructing these cold
storages is Rs 30.91 crore while the remaining amount worth Rs 1.85
crore will be paid to Jharkhand State Building Construction
Corporation as agency charge.

The cabinet also decided to approve the determination of the wages for
the teaching and non teaching staff of the newly affiliated colleges
of the state following the orders of the Supreme Court/High Court. It
was also agreed that a sum of Rs 71.62 crore will be sanctioned for
regular monitoring of quality education for the year 2018-19 and
2019-20 under E-vidyavahini Yojaa and a three party agreement inked
with the Niti Aayog in this regard.

Further the cabinet also approved Ramkrishna Dharmath Foundation
(RKDF) University legislation 2018, Radha Govind University Ramgarh,
Ramchandra Chandravanshi University Palamu and Netaji Subhash
University Jamshedpur legislation 2018. The government also gave its
consent to Bihar Rajbhasaha (Jharkhand Amendment) Legislation 2018
under which Magahi, Bhojpuri, Maithali and Angika would be declared as
second state language of Jharkhand.
