JBVNL issues safety advisory ahead of Ram Navami

Ranchi: Ahead of the Ram Navami celebrations, Jharkhand Bijli Vitran Nigam Limited (JBVNL) has issued a safety advisory urging people to take necessary precautions to avoid any electrical hazards during the festivities. The corporation has specifically advised citizens to be cautious while erecting religious flags, especially near electric poles and wires, and to ensure that no physical contact is made with electrical equipment during the processions.

JBVNL has requested people to avoid sitting on rooftops of buses and other vehicles, as it poses serious risks in areas with overhead high-voltage power lines. It has also appealed to all Ram Navami procession organizers and participants to follow safety measures strictly to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration. People have been warned not to touch electric wires or equipment, or to come into contact with them using sticks or any other object.
