JAC to organise NTSE Exam across 36 centres on Sunday

Ranchi: Jharkhand Academic Council on Sunday will organise the National Talent Search Examination in which a total of 5933 children from across the state will be participating.

For conducting the examination a total of 36 centres have been set up. An official of the JAC said that all the preparations for the examination have been completed and all the guidelines in wake of covid-19 will be followed at the examination centres.

The examination will be conducted in two settings and in two shifts of two hours each. The first sitting will be from 10 am to 12 pm for which the students will need to report at the examination centre at 9 am while the second sitting will be from 2 pm to 4 pm. The official said that all the admit cards have been downloaded for the exam.

In the first session questions from mental ability and aptitude would be asked and for every correct answer, one mark would be given. Students who will clear the exam will get a scholarship of Rs 1250 per month for class 11th and 12th.
