International conference on physics from 20th January at St. Xavier’s College

Ranchi: The first international conference will be organized at St. Xavier’s College in 2024. This conference has been named Advance in Nobel Materials towards a Sustainable Future. The conference will be hosted in collaboration with the Department of Physics of Xavier’s College and the Condensed Matter Research Society.

During the press conference held at Father Proust Hall, it was informed that the conference is to be organized from January 20 to January 22. In which eminent educationists from the field of physics and related sciences from India and abroad will be included. The chief patron of the event will be Professor Ajit Kumar Singh, Vice Chancellor of Ranchi University. Whereas Dr. Sanjay Kumar Dey, HOD of Physics Department, will be the co-patron of this seminar.

Meanwhile, Publicity and Public Relations Chairman Prof. Manohar Lal said that Prof. Rajeev Singh of the internationally renowned Department of Physics and Astronomy, UC Davis California will participate in this conference. Also, Dr. Rafia Ahmed and Mohammad Babar of King Abdullah University, Saudi Arabia will participate.

A well-known scientist from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, Prof. Abhishek Singh will express his views on smart materials. Conference coordinator Dr. Sumit Kumar Rai said that 300 researchers and students will participate in this conference. The conference will promote education in Jharkhand and will prove helpful to the students coming from universities and colleges of the state to get higher education from foreign institutions.

Dr. Mukul Das, Department of Electronic Engineering (IIT Dhanbad), Dr. Dilip Kumar Singh (BIT Mesra), Dr. Vasudev Pradhan (Department of Energy Engineering, Jharkhand Central University), Dr. Subrata Mukherjee Research and Development Tata Steel and others will be involved.
