IMD forecasts clear weather in Jharkhand

Ranchi: IMD’s Ranchi Meteorological Centre issued a forecast of clear weather in Jharkhand in the next 48- hour. Met statistics revealed that light rain occurred at a few isolated places over the state during the past 24 hours.

The highest rainfall, 4.4 mm, was recorded at Koner in Hazaribagh. The highest maximum temperature of 30.2 degree Celsius was recorded at Jamshedpur while the lowest minimum temperature of 11.8 degree Celsius was recorded at Khunti.

The westerly wind was prevailing in lower levels of the atmosphere. Ranchi, Jamshedpur and Daltonganj recorded minimum temperatures between 14 and 15 degree Celsius on Wednesday whereas Bokaro, Ramgarh and several other places recorded similar temperatures.

Weathermen said mist and shallow fog would prevail in the morning for the next two days. According to the Met forecast, the minimum temperature is expected to witness a gradual fall in the next two to three days.
