Congress party will fulfill the promises made to the people in the manifesto: Rajesh Thakur

Ranchi: Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee Chief Rajesh Thakur said that the congress party will fulfill the promises made to the people in its manifesto. Addressing a press conference here he said that the people of Jharkhand have high hopes for the government of Hemant Soren.

He said that even in the covid his party had performed better and highlighted the achievements of the party organization. He said that the Bharat Jodo Yatra of the Congress party is getting a huge response from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and as part of the initiative in Jharkhand, also yatra was taken out in which the state had stood first among all the other states which was also lauded by national president Mallikarjun Kharge and KC Venugopal.

He said that much work has been done in the organization including the formation of the new state-level committee and whatever task was given by the new state in charge the state organization has been successful in achieving those.

He said that Congress committees have been formed in 280 blocks which have already started functioning and an attempt will be made that even in the remaining blocks the presidents are appointed. He said that the work of the blockheads is being released on the ground also. 

To a query, he said that in the new year every Saturday a minister will be available in the party office to listen to problems and grievances and whatever task has been given by the party high command they will have to fulfill.

Over the dissidents in the party he said that as long as the organization is not impacted it cannot be called indiscipline however the discipline committee is doing its work but in a 197-member committee, there was no need to take 3-4 dissidents seriously.
