Ranchi: BJP State President and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi addressed a public meeting in Sikidiri on Thursday.
He participated in the booth worker felicitation program organized by the Bharatiya Janata Party in Nawagarh Panchayat under Sikidiri Mandal of Khijri Assembly Constituency under the name of ‘Ek Vriksha Maa’.
Marandi said “ nature is ours.She is the mother who protects all the inhabitants of the earth.
The beauty of nature are plants and trees. If we ensure the protection of nature by planting trees, only then nature will protect our lives”.
He said that since its inception, BJP goes among the people not only with political but also with creative programs.
He said that BJP is determined to protect both nature and culture.
He said that this year the Prime Minister called for a campaign to plant a tree in the name of our party’s inspirational man Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee from the sacrifice day of 23rd June to his birth anniversary on 6th July.
From the party booth to the national level workers are engaged in making this campaign successful.
He said that by planting trees in the name of our mother, we have to take the responsibility of taking care of her and also to save her.
He appealed to the public and workers to actively participate in this campaign.
