IED blast triggered by CPI (Maoist) in Chaibasa

Ranchi: IED explosion occurred during the search operation being conducted by Security Forces in Chaibasa on Thursday. CRPF jawan Hafizur Rahman got injured in this. He is part of the 174th battalion of CRPF. Due to being seriously injured, he was airlifted to Ranchi. Where he is undergoing treatment at Medica Hospital. The condition of the soldier is still stable.

The ID blast incident took place near Hesabandh of Mufasil police station. Teams of state and central security forces are jointly conducting operations in the Chaibasa area. Which includes teams of Chaibasa Police, Cobra 209 BN, 203 BN, 205 BN, Jharkhand Jaguar and CRPF 60 BN, 197 BN, 157 BN, 174 BN, 193 BN, 134 BN, 26 BN.

All these jawans are searching for Misir Besra, Anmol, Mochhu, Chaman, Kande, Ajay Mahato, Sagen Angriya, Ashwin, the top leaders of the Central Committee of CPI, who are controlling Maoist activities from Kolhan area. The team of state and central security forces is jointly carrying out the operation since October 10 this year. 

Their search operation was conducted in the border areas of Kuida, Chhota Kuida, Maradiri, Meralgada, Hathiburu, Tila Beda Boya Pisang, Katamba, Bayhatu, Boroy, Lemsadih of Goilkera police station and the border areas of Husipi, Rajabasa, Tumbahaka, Regada, Patatorab, Goburu, Luiya of Tonto police station. IG Operations Amol V Homkar said that as part of the campaign against Maoists, a company of CRPF 174 battalion had gone out on an operation in the morning. IED blast took place during the search operation. It was a print IED.

A soldier has been injured in this. He is originally from Assam. He has been airlifted by sending a helicopter from Ranchi.
