Ranchi: Director cum Member Secretary Jharkhand State Child Protection Society and Director General State Nutrition Mission Rajeshwari B while reviewing the activities of the Child Welfare Committee in the districts and the work being done by them towards the welfare of the children in need of care and protection in the direction of child protection directed the officials that children those who lead nomadic life on the roads they should be identified and necessary steps should be taken for their rehabilitation.
She said that officials should identify the hot spots of the children leading a nomadic life and connect them with the mainstream after following various procedures. She directed that necessary action should be taken to provide education and purpose assistance to these children.
During the meeting, a district-wise review of the assistance being given by the District Child Protection Unit to 2714 children for the welfare of orphans and destitute children was done by the District Child Protection Unit.
She also reviewed the district-wise progress of Mission Vatsalya Yojana In the meeting, Rajeshwari B also directed to ensure that the online data is uploaded by the districts in the summer campaign. She directed the District Social Welfare Officer to facilitate the process of payment being made through SNA account in the districts.
