Art Gallery will be constructed in state to showcase paintings of talented artists: Chief Minister

Ranchi: Chief Minister Hemant Soren said that there was no lack of talent among the tribal and regional artists of the state as they have been regularly showcasing their talent which is being appreciated by the people. However, due to some problems, they are facing problems in establishing themselves on a bigger platform and their difficulties have been noted by the state government he said adding that the government is trying to extend all possible help to its artists and they are also being extended financial support so that they can make a name for the state through their performance.

He said that there is also no lack of painters in the state and even children have lots of inclination toward it. The Chief Minister said that sketching by the children is highly attractive therefore the state government is contemplating setting up an art gallery in the state to showcase their paintings.

He said that if needed further support will be extended to them. Earlier Riya Tirkey who represented Jharkhand in the grand finale of Femina Miss India 2022 met the Chief Minister who congratulated her for her achievements and also felicitated her with momento.

He said that she was the first daughter from the state who through her dedication and talent had reached the grand finale of the prestigious event and throughout the tournament her performance was great. He said that the entire state was proud of her achievements and extended his best wishes for her future.
