Ranchi: The state will continue reel under the influence of hot winds for the next few days. In wake of such conditions, the weather department has issued a yellow alert for the districts of Garhwa, Palamu, Latehar, Chatra and Giridih districts.
In the other districts of the state, the weather will remain dry and the sky will remain clear. Meanwhile, in separate areas of the state, the weather has remained different. While some of the areas have witnessed cloud cover, others have seen fog while in the remaining areas hot conditions and heat waves have been reported.
In the Santhal Pargana region many areas remained under cloud cover due to which the temperature was less in these areas however in the northwestern area the people remained under the influence of loo.
Incharge of Ranchi Weather Station said that in the hilly areas haze can be witnessed. He said that after hot weather conditions throughout the day in areas having dense forest cover and river or water bodies in the morning haze will be seen which is a normal phenomenon.
