Ranchi: The district administration has commenced steps to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the rural areas as part of which survey and work of testing has commenced at the panchayat level.
In different blocks of Ranchi district, the panchayat level task force team has commenced the task of survey and test. In the team, Sahiyas, Anganwadi sevika, ANM, members from women self help group and those from JSLPS Sakhi Mandal have been included. The teams are equipped with thermal scanner and thermometer who are measuring the temperature and also the oxygen saturation level in people who are above 40 years of age.
In case any person has symptoms of coronavirus in the family or is found covid positive then immediately the RAT test is being performed. Further in case any member of the family in the village if has a migrant worker or a death has taken place in the past one month then RAT test of all the family member is being performed.
The district administration has come up with a communication plan for checking the spread of Coronavirus in the villages. To perform the RAT tests two teams have been formed at the panchayat level.
