Ranchi: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Monday expressed his grief over the passing of Bharat Ratna former president Pranab Mukherjee.
The Chief Minister said that the demise of Pranab Mukherjee was an irreparable loss for the whole nation. He said that Pranab Mukherjee dedicated his whole life to the service of the nation.
The Chief Minister prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to the family members to overcome the burden of loss.
Jharkhand Congress president and Finance Minister Dr Rameshwar Oraon has also offered his deep condolences over the passing away of Dr Mukherjee. He said that the nation would always remember his contribution and his demise is an irreparable loss for the country.
Leader of Congress legislature wing and Rural Development Minister Alamgir Aalam said that he was pained after hearing the news of the demise of Dr Mukherjee. He said that country has lost a great leader and intellectual who had the distinction of working with many Prime Ministers.
State BJP president and Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash has also extended his grief over the passing of the former president. He said that the late president was very simple and sober but was multi-talented.
As a politician, social worker, as a member of the house and later as a cabinet minister and as a President gave a new direction to the country.
He prayed to the almighty to rest his soul in peace and give strength to the family to overcome the burden of loss.
Leader of the legislature wing of BJP and former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi said that nation would remain in debt to Pranab Mukherjee for his numerous valuable contributions and the country and its politics would always miss him.
