HEC workers halted work for the second day, took to the streets

Ranchi: HEC employees are on the streets for the second day on Friday in protest against lathi-charge and demand for outstanding salaries.

All the employees have stopped their work by sitting peacefully in front of the headquarters.

However, HEC personnel have not blocked the road.

Finance and marketing personnel are being allowed inside the HEC headquarters.

HEC management has asked for two days’ time.

On Monday, the management will clarify for how long and for how many days the HEC employees will get their salaries.

Talks were held between the HEC management and the union on October 12 at the HEC Guest House.

In this talk, the union unanimously raised the issue of mode of payment.

On behalf of the management, Personal Director Prashant and Production Director Deepak Dubey were present in this talk.

On behalf of the union, Bhawan Singh, Laldev Singh, Ramkumar Nayak, Krishna Mohan Singh, Rana Sangram Singh, Dilip Singh, Prakash Kumar, Harendra Prasad Yadav, MP Ramachandran, Tripathi ji, Vimal Mahali, Sanjay Lala, Shekhar Kumar and others were present.
