Ranchi: Jharkhand Health Minister Banna Gupta met Governor CP Radhakrishnan at Raj Bhavan. The Minister apprised the Governor about the activities of the Health Department. Also informed about the future work plans of the department.
Banna told the governor that on the instructions of Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the health department is working to provide health care benefits to the last person in remote rural areas despite limited resources. Health Minister Banna Gupta informed the Governor about the review meeting of the department with the Chief Minister in the past. He said that the CM directed to improve the medical system in the medical hospitals of the state 24 hours a day.
Work on this is being done by preparing an action plan. The Health Minister told CP Radhakrishnan that work is being done to eradicate black market, sickle cell anaemia, and cervical cancer.
Simultaneously, work is also being done for TB-free Jharkhand. The governor listened seriously to all the words of the minister and gave special directions to improve the health service.
