Hail and Rain recorded in many districts, Weather to remain similar on Thursday

Ranchi: Many districts across the state experienced hail and rainfall over the last 24 hours and the weather is likely to remain the same going forward for the next one or two days. On Wednesday it was cloudy in Ranchi since morning. After a dense fog in the morning, it got cleared as the day progressed. The day got a little warm but the sun did not come out. In the afternoon, suddenly the weather took a turn and the clouds started raining throughout the day with strong wind. It rained heavily for about half an hour. This hailstorm also occurred in many parts of Ranchi.

Ranchi has recorded 2.8 mm of rain in the last 24 hours. Simdega has recorded maximum rainfall in the state during this period here in the last 24 hours 43.4 mm of rain has been recorded. According to the Meteorological Department, almost all the districts of the state have received light to moderate rain. Scientists at the local weather station said that there is a possibility of rain in 14 districts of the state including Ranchi on Thursday. Apart from Ranchi, there may be rain in different areas of Khunti, Bokaro, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Deoghar, Dhanbad, Godda, Giridih.

The state will witness light to moderate fog in the morning for the next 2-3 days. During this the temperature will remain stable. In the last 24 hours, Ranchi recorded a minimum temperature of 11.7 degrees celsius and a maximum temperature of 19.7 degrees celsius. The highest temperature in the state was recorded in Godda at 25.4 degree celsius.
