Governor participated in ‘Ayushman Bhava’ program

Ranchi: Governor C.P. Radhakrishnan participated in ‘Ayushman Bhava’ health camp held at Kasturba Gandhi Girls School, Namkum, Ranchi.

On the said occasion, he congratulated Dr. G. Loganathan and his team and said that organizing health camps creates awareness about health among the people. Many people who due to some reason are not able to go to the doctor or hospital, come to know about their diseases through the camp and their quick treatment is also possible. In this perspective, health camps play an important role in the prevention of diseases.

The governor said that in the camp, people are also provided information about healthy lifestyles and proper nutrition. He said that to recover from any disease, along with treatment, mental strength is also necessary. Along with the students of Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya, Namkum, people of the surrounding society will also benefit from this camp.

Ayushman Bhava Yojana was dedicated to the nation by the Honorable President Madam for the welfare of the people. The objective of this scheme is to cover all sections of society with better health facilities as well as insurance coverage. The world’s largest insurance scheme in the field of health, ‘Ayushman Bharat’ scheme was started by Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi from Jharkhand, the land of Lord Birsa Munda.

The governor said that a healthy mind resides only in a healthy body. Therefore, people should be alert and aware of their health. He appealed to the people not to consume harmful drugs and wished for the creation of a healthy and happy Jharkhand. On the said occasion, he distributed health kits and expressed his gratitude to all the doctors and health workers for organizing this camp.
