Ranchi: Governor Ramesh Bais on Saturday distributed laptops among the poor students pursuing engineering at BIT Sindri in the Durbar Hall of Raj Bhawan.
While distributing laptops among the students of poor family studying engineering in Sindri, he said that it is the responsibility of all to do good work for the motherland.
He said that the students should bring laurels to the name of their family, society and country by their conduct. The Governor told the students that India was once called the Holden bird. In the Nalanda University established in Bihar, once students from abroad used to come for learning and today the situation is that students from here are going abroad for studies he said adding that the students should play a leading role in establishing India as a Vishwa Guru with their skills.
The Governor said that the students should do such work that future generations will remember their actions. He asked the students to contribute in social work along with studies. At the same time, while giving inspiration to the students for the service of the society and the country, he said that Shaheed Bhagat Singh was hanged at a very young age because he wanted to see India independent. He congratulated Anant Prayas Sanstha for providing laptops to these students. On the occasion RK Choudhary, CEO, Anant Prayas, Dr HK Budhia, President, Anant Prayas, Ranjana Srivastava, Trustee, Anant Prayas and others were present.
