Giridih: Once again taking major action against cyber criminals in Giridih, the police have arrested nine vicious cyber criminals from different police stations in the district. After today’s arrest, the police have detained 100 cybercriminals in Giridih district in the last 100 days. Police have recovered 55 mobile phones, 36 SIM cards, 01 ATM card, 2 passbooks, 3 iPads, 1 laptop, three power banks, and four bikes.
Among the arrested cyber criminals, are Manish Kumar Mandal of Tilakdih of Bhelwaghati police station area, Vikas Mandal of Bengabad police station area, Sagar Turi of Sonabad of Bengabad, Mohd. of Ahardih of Gandey police station area. Mushtaq Ansari, Sagir Ansari of Gopalpur of Bengabad police station area, Mohd. of Ahardih of Gandey. Ejaz Ansari, Enamul Haq of Lakhanpur, Bangabad, Sayum Ansari and Azrudin Ansari of Kumhargarhia of Budhai police station area are included.
All of them have been sent to jail. District SP Deepak Sharma said that all these cyber criminals used to cheat people by providing maternity benefits to pregnant women and creating fake courier service ads on Google. Apart from this, all these cyber criminals also used to provide stolen mobile phones.
In this regard, Giridih SP Deepak Kumar Sharma said that after the arrest of these cybercriminals, the police have had a big success against cybercrime in Giridih. He said that cybercrime will be eliminated from Giridih.
The raid team included Cyber DSP Sandeep Suman Samdarshi, Cyber Police Station Incharge Ajay Kumar, Pt Roshan Kumar, Pt Saroj Kumar Mandal, Pt Sanjay Mukhiyar, Constable Saket Verma, Saurabh Kumar, Jitendra Nath Mahato etc.
