In a remarkable display of academic excellence, National Institute of Technology ( NIT ) Jamshedpur has scripted history with an outstanding performance in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering 2026, as its students secured top ranks at the national level.
Leading this stellar achievement, Tejavath Manoj Kumar, a final-year student from the Department of Electrical Engineering, clinched All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the Electrical Engineering (EE) paper.
He scored an exceptional 92 out of 100 marks and achieved a perfect GATE score of 1000, emerging as the national topper in his discipline.
Congratulating him on this landmark accomplishment, Director Goutam Sutradhar said, “This outstanding achievement is a matter of immense pride for the institute. Adding to the institute’s glory, Adyant Mishra, a third-year student from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, secured an impressive AIR 40, placing him among the top-performing candidates nationwide.
