Mumbai: Bollywood star Deepika Padukone was spotted stepping out on Friday evening for a concert in the city, accompanied by her husband Ranveer Singh’s mother, Anju Bhavnani, and sister, Ritika Bhavnani.
Dressed in a beautifully embroidered traditional outfit paired with a rich shawl, Deepika kept her look elegant and understated. She styled her hair in her signature sleek bun and completed the look with statement earrings. Meanwhile, Anju Bhavnani opted for a black outfit with bold white patterns, and Ritika kept things simple with a minimal look.
In videos circulating online, Deepika was also seen warmly interacting with fans and happily posing for selfies, adding a personal touch to her evening outing.
On the professional front, Deepika is currently celebrating the success of Ranveer Singh’s latest film, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, which released on March 19 and has been receiving a strong response both in theatres and online. The first installment of the film had also performed well when it released in December. Deepika had earlier taken to social media to praise the film’s team and applaud Ranveer’s performance.
Deepika, who made her Bollywood debut with Om Shanti Om opposite Shah Rukh Khan, has since delivered several hits including Chennai Express, Piku, Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, and Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.
Speaking of their relationship, Deepika and Ranveer first met on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. Their on-screen chemistry soon turned into a real-life romance, and the couple tied the knot in 2018 in Italy. They later welcomed their daughter, Dua.
Looking ahead, Deepika will next be seen in King, which once again stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
