Funeral Procession of comrade Subhash Munda with the slogan of Lal Salam

Ranchi: Comrade Subhash Munda was given a final farewell with tearful eyes and slogans of Lal Salaam. In his honour, the red flag will remain unfurled in the CPI (M) offices across the state for the next three days. The body of CPI (M) state committee member Subhash Munda was taken to the party’s state office on Main Road at 7 am.

State Secretary Prakash Viplav, District Secretary Sukhnath Lohra, Prafulla Linda of Adivasi Adhikar Manch, Shiv Balak Paswan of Dalit Shoshan Mukti Manch, Sufal Mahto of Kisan Sabha, Virendra Kumar, Ajay Singh of CPI, Manoj Bhakta of Male, Anirvan Bose of CITU, Shubhendu Sen of ACTU, Amal Azad of Common Manch, Veena Linda of Edva, former central committee member of the party Gopi Kant Baxi, members of the party presented Pushpa to Subhash Munda Offered tribute.

Senior CPIM leader and former MP Brinda Karat said that the killing of tribals is unfortunate for the entire state. The body of Subhash Munda was taken from the party office to Daladli Chowk. Where thousands of women and men paid tribute to him. During this the eyes of the women were moist. The youth there were stunned. At around 12 o’clock the body of Subhash Munda was taken to his residence. After this, the funeral procession of Subhash Munda was taken out at 2 pm. A large number of people participated in the funeral procession. After this Subhash Munda was cremated.

On this occasion, former Chief Minister Babulal Marandi, CPI (ML) MLA Vinod Singh, Hatia MLA Naveen Jaiswal and many leaders of left parties and other political parties were present to pay tribute to Subhash Munda. Subhash Munda’s grandfather Sukra Munda was in the Indian Army. He had lost his legs during the war. He has also been a member of the CPIM party. After Sukra Munda, his son Lalit Munda and after that Subhash Munda followed in the footsteps of his grandfather and joined the CPIM.

In the year 2019, he contested from CPIM. In which he got 13000 votes. He also contested Madar by-election. He was a fiery young leader who had a hold in the city. Subhash Munda was associated with CPI (M) for the last 12-13 years. He raised his voice for the laborers, Dalits and backward classes from the road to the house.
