Ranchi, Apr 24: Additional Chief Secretary of the planning and Finance
Department Amit Khare chaired a meeting with the secretaries of the
various department for the execution of PFMS, IFMS, e-Gras and
e-payment systems.
During the review meet he said that the Chief Minister had made 142
announcements for the year 2017-18 out of which 29 announcements have
been implemented by the department in the first month of the fiscal.
He directed the officials concerned to implement the remaining
announcements in a phase wise manner.
During the course of the meeting he directed that from May 1 the
first phase of PFMS will be implemented for all the central schemes
under which all department will have to make entry of Scheme Hierarchy
Scheme Component and Scheme Implementing Agencies (SIA).
All the departments have been asked to make payment through
e-payment from May 1. It was said that funds Rs 5,000 and above would
be paid via e-payment while amount less then can be also paid by
cash. He directed that a nodal officer of the rank of joint
secretary/deputy secretary be appointed as a nodal officer for
inclusion of recommendations made by DC and CAG. All the nodal
officials were also asked to hold a meeting every month.
