Ranchi: A full dress rehearsal was held on Sunday for the program to be held on Independence Day at the historic Morhabadi Maidan in the capital Ranchi.
Full dress rehearsal was done under the leadership of DIG Anoop Birthare, Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha and Senior Superintendent of Police Kishore Kaushal.
During this, the programs to be held on Independence Day were repeated.
DIG Anoop Birthare and Deputy Commissioner Rahul Kumar Sinha took the salute of the parade and gave necessary guidelines to all the parties related to the parade.
Joint briefing of deputed officials was held for the flag hoisting ceremony organized at Morhabadi Maidan on Independence Day.
During this, detailed information was given about the joint mandate issued by DC and SSP.
All the deputation officers were instructed to reach the place of deputation on time and discharge their duties and responsibilities.
The DC said that all the deputed administrative police officers should understand their deputation place, work and responsibility properly.
He asked all the concerned officials to ensure that the chief guests are brought to the venue on time.
He said that all the dignitaries should be made to sit in their cell with respect.
During the briefing, SSP Kishore Kaushal said that all the visitors coming to the program should be investigated seriously.
Take special care that no unwanted person should enter the ceremony venue with objectionable material.
DC, SSP inspected the venue and instructed to complete the preparations on time.
