Ranchi: Four rebels of the CPI Maoist organization have been arrested in Lohardaga. These rebels used to carry out the incident at the behest of Ravindra Ganjhu, who had a reward of 15 lakhs. Many cases have been registered against them in various police stations in the district. The police were looking for these ultras for a month. The rebels arrested by the Lohardaga police are Sunil Kherwar, Munna Lohra, Jeevan Lohra, and Sukhlal Nagesia. Weapons, pamphlets, and other items have been recovered from them.
According to Sources, Lohardaga SP R. Ramkumar received secret information that a squad of about a dozen rebels, including all four ultras, is in the process of carrying out an incident. All the rebels are roaming in the Serengdag police station area. After this Lohardaga SP formed a raid team under the leadership of Senha police station in-charge Abhinav Kumar. This team nabbed four rebels while conducting a raid in Peshrar. The rebels said to the police that they used to spread terror at the behest of Ravindra Ganjhu, the regional commander of CPI-Maoist with a reward of Rs 15 lakh.
The arrested Maoists include Sunil Kherwar, Munna Lohra, Jeevan Lohra and Sukhlal Nagesia. The police were looking for these rebels last month in Manhepat under the Serengdag police station area, in other cases including setting fire to JCB machines engaged in road construction work, and damaging mixer machines and water tankers. The work of spreading panic was done by these rebels in two different road construction schemes. Two carbines, two country-made kattas, cartridges, etc. have been recovered by the police along with rebels working on the behest of Ravindra Ganjhu, the regional commander of CPI Maoist.
His arrest is a big success for the police. Police are interrogating the arrested rebels of the CPI Maoist organization about their organization and weapons. On the other hand, Ravindra Ganjhu, the regional commander of CPI Maoist, was carrying out major rebel incidents by including some local people in his squad, even staying several kilometers away from the scene. By arresting these four rebels, the police have foiled the plan of Ravindra Ganjhu.
