Former ADG Rezi Dungdung resigns from Jharkhand Party

Ranchi: Former ADG Rezi Dungdung who had contested Vidhansabha elections from Simdega seat on Thursday resigned from the membership of the Jharkhand Party.

In a letter written by Mr Dungdung to the General Secretary of the party, he said that he could not establish coordination between ideology and interests and moreover due to some personal reasons also he has decided to resign.

In the letter addressed to General Secretary Ashok Kumar Bhagat, the former ADG wrote that he had joined the membership of the party on November 12, 2019 and was a candidate from Simdega district. “I am resigning on personal grounds,” he wrote adding further that he had to serve the people of his constituency and had to remain between them but due to Coronavirus he could not do the same.

Rezi Dungdung in October 2019 had taken VRS and later joined the Jharkhand Party.
