Forest Officers Wives Association (FOWA) plants saplings in Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir

Ranchi: Forest Officers Wives Association (FOWA) members celebrated VAN MAHOTSAV at Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Dhurwa, Ranchi on 25th July.

The school Principal appreciated the efforts of FOWA members in spreading awareness among the students through plantation. The students presented an array of programmes on this occasion and shared their views on conservation of environment.

Speaking on the occasion, FOWA President Mrs. Vibha Srivastava encouraged the students to not only plant the trees but also nurture and look after them. She stressed on the importance of planting saplings to mitigate the harmful effects of climate change for better future. FOWA members planted the trees in the school campus along with the students.

The programme was attended by President Vibha Srivastava, Vice President Ruchi Upadhyay, Secretary Poonam Ranjan, Joint Secretary Sunandita Das, Treasurer Meenu Pandian, Promila Singh, Ranjana Samant, Anju Singh and others.
