Fodder Scam: Lalu Yadav appears in special CBI court in Ranchi

Ranchi, Jun 9: Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Yadav appeared before a special CBI code in connection with the multi crore fodder scam case.

 

Mr Yadav alongwith former Bihar Chief Minister Jaggannath Mishra appeared in the court of sepcial CBI judge Shivpal Singh in case number RC 64A/96 which is related to fradulaent withdrawal of Rs 97 lakh from Deoghar treasury. In this case the court had issued summon to Mr Yadav to be present physically.

 

In this case Mr Yadav has been already granted bail by the court and today in the same case Mr Mishra was granted bail by the court.

In another case Mr Yadav appeared before the court of Special CBI judge Pradeep Kumar in RC47A/96 which is related to withdrawal of Rs 139.37 crore from Doranda Treasury.

 

Mr Yadav was convicted and punishment announced by the CBI court in case number RC20A/96 which was realted to withdrawal of funds from Chiabasa Treasury.
